Who We Are...

Our Vision

“Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” (Ephesians 3:20).

Our Mission
The mission of AOIMF is to build the Kingdom, one soul at a time. We are called to PLANT, LIBERATE, PROTECT, DEVELOP, INSPIRE and LOVE people.

AOIMF is committed to:

  • PLANT - Planting seeds for the kingdom of God through evangelism.
  • LIBERATE - Letting the world know that Jesus Christ won the battle at the cross of Calvary.
  • PROTECT - Build intercessors and set them up as God’s end-time army for their families, ministries and nations.
  • DEVELOP - Develop ministers and soldiers for their calling and equip them with the tools to fight the good fight of Faith.
  • INSPIRE - Inspire children, teenagers and young adults to live for Christ and prepare them for life ahead.
  • LOVE - Love in action by meeting the needs of the less privileged, such as the orphans and the homeless, all over the world.

Our Beliefs...

  1. We believe in absolute faith in God. Our mandate is to please God, and without faith, we cannot please God. Faith in God must be demonstrated in everyday life. (Hebrews 11)
  2. We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God and the final authority of the Church. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  3. We believe that there is only one God. He created the Heavens and the Earth. He rules over the affairs of man. He is God the Father. (Gen. 1:1; Ps. 86:9-10; Is. 43:10-11; John 1:1-3)
  4. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to the earth, died on the cross and resurrected.  He is the only way to redemption and eternal life. He is God the Son. We believe in Christ’s virgin birth, His works, teachings, death, resurrection, ascension, and the white throne judgment. (John 1:1-14; John 14:9; Matt. 1:18-25, Is 9:6; Is 53:5-6; Isaiah 53:4-10; 1 Pet. 2:24; John 10:11; Gal. 3:13, Matt. 20:28; 1 Cor. 15:3; Rom. 4:25; 2 Cor. 5:14; Heb 2:9; Heb 9:26)
  5. We believe in the Holy Spirit. He is the third person in the Trinity. He is God the Holy Spirit. (John 14:16-17; John 15:26; Matt. 3:16; Acts 13:24)
  6. We believe in the Trinity–God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are one entity made up of three persons. (Gen. 1:16-29; Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 18:19)
  7. We believe that the devil constantly seeks the downfall of man, and accordingly, we arm ourselves with the armor of God. (Gen. 3:1-16; 1 Peter 5:8; Eph. 6:11-18)
  8. We believe that God created man in His own image. Man is a representative of God on earth. (Gen. 1:26; Gen 2:7; Gen. 1:26-28; Gen. 2:15)
  9. We believe in holiness and sanctification. (Hebrews 12:14; John 17:15-17; 2 Corinthians 7:1; 2 Peter 1:16)
  10. We believe in the Rapture and second coming of Jesus Christ and His first ascension to heaven. (Acts 1:9-11)
  11. We believe in water baptism by immersion. (Acts 8:38-39)
  12. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Luke 24:49; John 7:38; Acts 2:38-39, 19:2)
  13. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12)
  14. We believe in Justification and Regeneration by faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:3-6; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 3:15; Galatians 3:24; 1 Peter 1:23)
  15. We believe in Repentance towards God through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19, 20:21; 2 Corinthians 7:10)
  16. We believe in Restitution. (Leviticus 6:4; Acts 24:16; Luke 19:8-9; Ezekiel 33:15)
  17. We believe in Eternal Heaven and Eternal Hell. (Matthew 24:35; Mark 9:43-44; Luke 6:24; 2 Peter 3:12-13; Revelation 14:10-11)
  18. We believe Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper and that it should be observed. (1 Corinthians 11:23-24)
  19. We believe in the payment of tithe as our obligation to God. (Malachi 3:7-10)
  20. We believe that marriage is a union between one man and one woman. (Matthew 19:9; 1 Corinthians 7:15-17; 2 Corinthians 6:14-16)
  21. We believe in Charity. (Matthew 25:35-40)

Our Ordinances...

In accordance with the Holy Scriptures, we observe the following ordinances:

  • Ordinance 1: Baptism by Immersion in Water
We carry out the ordinance of baptism because Jesus commanded it. Matthew 28:19 commands us to, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” We administer baptism to all who believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
  • Ordinance 2: The Lord’s Supper
We observe the Lord’s Supper because Jesus commanded us to do it in His remembrance. (Luke 22:19-20)

Our Services and Ceremonies...

  1. Worship Services
We worship God in truth and in spirit. We engage in Pentecostal worship, boldly declaring the Lordship and supremacy of Jesus Christ. We make joyful noises unto the Lord, dance before Him, and celebrate His goodness. We hold at least one worship service every Sunday.

  2. Prayer Vigil
We pray to God without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Matthew 6:6-7) We organize regular prayer times for our congregations. We organize prayer vigils at least once in a month.

  3. Bible Study
The Bible is the Word of God. We engage in Bible study as a way of knowing God. Each of our churches must dedicate a time for Bible study every week. (2 Timothy 3:16)

  4. Evangelism
Jesus Christ commanded us to, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”  (Mark 16:15) We conduct evangelism as a way of propagating the Good News of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  5. Ordination
We perform ordination ceremonies to set people apart for the work of God. (Acts 6:6; Titus 1:5) Ordination involves anointing by laying on of hands by the church authority.

  6. Marriage
Marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman. God instituted marriage in the Garden of Eden. We perform the rites of marriage to join a man and a woman in holy matrimony. (Matthew 19:4-6)

  7. Child Dedication
We bring children into the church soon after their birth to dedicate them to the Lord. (1 Samuel 1:11; Luke 2:22) It is a spiritual rite which symbolizes the Supremacy and Lordship of Christ over the child and the parents. It also attests to the pledge of the parents to bring up the child in the way of the Lord.

  8. Christmas
We celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ on December 25th every year. We remember His virgin birth by Mary in Bethlehem, as written in Scripture.

  9. Easter
We celebrate Easter every year. We remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as written in Scripture.

  10. Crossover Night
We hold a service on the night of December 31st every year to pray as we transition from one year to another. We thank God for seeing us through the expiring year and pray for His help in the new year.

In the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
